Smooth velvety whipped feta with honey is a perfect party dip recipe with its sweet, spicy, tangy, and garlicky flavor. Enjoy this delicious dip with crackers, pita chips, crostini, or sourdough toast.

Ingredients

Feta Mixture:

  • Feta block – 8 oz (200 g)
  • Cream cheese (room temp) – 4 oz (100 g)
  • Lemon juice – 3 tsp
  • Olive oil – 3 tsp (divided)

Spicy Hot Honey:

  • Garlic cloves (minced) – 3 to 4
  • Red Chilli Flakes – 1/2 tsp
  • Honey – 1/4 cup

For Garnishing:

  • Chopped Pistachios
  • Fresh herbs like parsley, chives, or mint

Instructions

  1. Step 1: In a small pan, heat 1 tsp oil. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30-40 seconds on medium-low heat. Add red chili flakes and sauté for another 30 seconds. Turn off the flame.
  2. Step 2: Add honey to sautéed garlic and chili flakes. Mix well, warming the honey without boiling. Let it cool.
  3. Step 3: In a food processor, blend feta, cream cheese, and lemon juice. Gradually add olive oil until smooth and fluffy.
  4. Step 4: Transfer whipped feta to a bowl. Make swirls in the dip, pour honey into crevices. Garnish with pistachios or herbs. Serve with crackers or chips.

Notes

  • Leftover dip can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Avoid freezing due to texture changes upon thawing.
