Ingredients

Cookies

  • Ladyfingers (quantity as needed for layering)

Cream Mixture

  • Mascarpone cheese – 250 g
  • Chocolate spread (e.g., Nutella) – 250 g

Chocolate Milk Mixture

  • Milk – 150 ml
  • Chocolate spread – 55 g

Toppings

  • Hazelnuts, finely chopped (quantity as needed for coating)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Cream Mixture: In a bowl, mix the mascarpone and 250 g of chocolate spread until smooth and well combined. Set aside 40 g of this cream mixture for decorating later and transfer the rest into a piping bag for easy application.
  2. Make the Chocolate Milk Mixture: Heat 150 ml of milk in a pan until it starts to boil. Remove from heat and add 55 g of chocolate spread, stirring until fully melted and smooth. Allow this mixture to cool down to room temperature.
  3. Assemble the Cookies: Take a ladyfinger and pipe a dollop of the cream mixture on top. Then place another ladyfinger on top of it and press firmly to sandwich them together.
  4. Apply the Cream Coating: Use the reserved 40 g of cream mixture to spread evenly on the sides of the cookie sandwich.
  5. Dip in Chocolate Mixture & Coat with Hazelnuts: Briefly dip the sides of the cookie sandwich into the cooled chocolate milk mixture, then immediately coat the sides with finely chopped hazelnuts to cover the cream layer.
  6. Place on Paper Liner: Set each hazelnut-coated pastry on individual small paper liners for serving and presentation.
  7. Finish with Cream Decoration: Using the piping bag, pipe a final dollop of cream on top of each dessert for an elegant finishing touch.
