A delightful and colorful twist on the classic tiramisu, this Red, White, and Blue Berry Tiramisu is a no-bake dessert featuring layers of strawberries, mascarpone cream, ladyfinger cookies soaked in orange juice, and fresh blueberries. Perfect for summer BBQs and patriotic holidays.

Ingredients

For the Strawberry Layer:

  • 1 pound fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

For the Mascarpone Cream:

  • 2 8-ounce packages mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For Assembling:

  • 2 7-ounce packages ladyfinger cookies
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 3 tablespoons orange liquor (optional)
  • 1 pint fresh blueberries

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Strawberries: Combine sliced strawberries with sugar and lemon juice, refrigerate.
  2. Make the Mascarpone Cream: Whip mascarpone, powdered sugar, vanilla, and cream until medium peaks form.
  3. Prepare the Strawberry Juice: Strain juice from macerated strawberries, mix with orange juice and liquor.
  4. Assemble the Tiramisu: Dip ladyfingers in juice, layer with mascarpone and strawberries, repeat layers, top with blueberries.
  5. Chill: Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  6. Serve: Slice and enjoy!

Notes

  • 1 pound of fresh strawberries yields about 3 3/4 cups whole or 2 3/4 cups sliced.
  • Adjust blueberries to preference or create a patriotic design with strawberries.
