Kronk’s Spinach Puffs is a delightful appetizer featuring a flaky puff pastry filled with a savory mixture of spinach, cream cheese, and feta. These puffs are perfect for any gathering or as a tasty snack.

Ingredients

Puff Pastry:

  • 1 package Butter Puff Pastry

Spinach Mixture:

  • 5 oz Chopped Spinach (5 oz before cooking)
  • 125 g Cream Cheese
  • 1/2 cup Feta Cheese, shredded or crumbled
  • 35 Garlic Cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Melted Butter (for brushing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare Filling: In a medium bowl, mix together chopped spinach, cream cheese, feta cheese, minced garlic, onion powder, garlic powder, and ground pepper. Set aside.
  3. Assemble Puffs: Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into squares. Spoon the spinach mixture onto one side of each square and fold over to form a triangle. Repeat for all pastry squares.
  4. Brush with Butter: Place the assembled puffs on the baking sheet, spaced apart. Brush the tops with melted butter.
  5. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the puffs are golden brown.
  6. Serve: Remove from oven, serve, and enjoy!
