Semi-Sweet Chocolate:

Powdered Sugar:

Whole Eggs:

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate and butter. Microwave for 1 minute and 20 seconds. Whisk until smooth.
  2. Add the powdered sugar, whole eggs, and egg yolk. Whisk until combined.
  3. Blend in the flour. Whisk until well combined.
  4. Prepare custard cups. Spray with non-stick cooking spray and fill with batter.
  5. Bake. Place on a cookie sheet in the oven for 15 to 16 minutes until edges are set and center is soft.
  6. Cool and serve. Let cool before inverting onto a plate. Serve with ice cream if desired.

Notes

  • You can prepare the batter in advance up to 2 days. Cover and refrigerate, then bring to room temperature before baking.
  • For freezing, cool completely, wrap tightly, and freeze for up to 3 weeks. Reheat in the microwave until heated through.
