Ingredients

Spice Mixture:

  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon ground garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon ground turmeric
  • ½ teaspoon ground cardamom
  • ½ to 2 teaspoons ground cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon

Main Ingredients:

  • 1 large white onion, diced
  • 2 tablespoons salted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 15 ounces tomato sauce (canned, not marinara)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 large chicken breasts (about 1 pound)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil (olive oil or vegetable oil may be used)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Spice Mixture: Combine all the spices in a small bowl and set aside.
  2. Sauté Onions: In a large pot over medium heat, cook diced onion and butter until translucent, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add Garlic: Stir in minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
