Ingredients

Main Cake:

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

Filling and Garnish:

  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • Optional: sliced almonds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9-inch cake pan.
  2. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
  3. Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract.
  4. Whisk together almond flour, all-purpose flour, and baking powder. Add to wet mixture.
  5. Bake 25–30 minutes until golden.
  6. Cool completely before slicing horizontally.
  7. Beat mascarpone with powdered sugar. Spread filling between layers.
  8. Garnish with sliced almonds and dust with powdered sugar.
