Ingredients

Chicken:

  • 11.5 lb chicken breasts or thighs, cut into bite-size pieces
  • 3 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp soy sauce

Sesame Chicken Sauce:

  • 1 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 5 tbsp honey
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp chili flakes
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 3 tbsp sesame seeds for topping (optional)
  • 2 tbsp green onions, diced (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Chicken: In a bowl, mix diced chicken with cornstarch, salt, pepper, and soy sauce until well coated.
  2. Preheat Air Fryer: Set air fryer to 380 degrees F and preheat for 5 minutes.
  3. Cook Chicken: Spray basket with non-stick spray, add coated chicken, and cook for about 8 minutes, flipping halfway through, until cooked through.
  4. Make Sauce: In a saucepan, combine all sauce ingredients, heat until bubbling, then add cooked chicken. Stir and simmer for 2 minutes.
